Overview
Sleeply - Sleep Sounds & Mixer is published by SAPPS Interactive ("Service Provider"). This policy explains what data is collected when you use the app and how it is used.
Data Collected
The Application automatically collects certain information when you download and use it. This may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
- The pages or screens visited, the time and date of your visit, and time spent on those pages
- The overall time spent using the Application
- The type of mobile operating system and hardware configuration you use
The Application does not request location permissions and does not access your device's GPS or precise location. However, third-party SDKs integrated in the Application (AdMob and Firebase) may derive approximate coarse location (typically at city level) from your IP address for analytics and ad targeting purposes. This is handled entirely by those third parties in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
In-App Purchases
The Application offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional features:
- Sounds Only - Unlocks access to all available sleep sounds within the Application.
- Premium Access - Unlocks all Application features and removes advertisements.
In-app purchases are processed exclusively through the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). The Service Provider does not collect, process, or store your payment card information or billing details. Your purchase status is associated with your Google or Apple account to enable restoration across devices. The Service Provider receives only anonymized transaction confirmations to verify and restore purchase validity.
Local Storage
The Application stores small amounts of data locally on your device, including your in-app purchase status, sound preferences, playback settings, and any other customizations you configure. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you clear the Application's data or uninstall the Application.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Application utilizes third-party SDKs, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to support core functionality, ad delivery, and performance analytics. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob - advertising. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. AdMob Privacy Policy
- Firebase (Google) - crash reporting and basic usage analytics (session counts, feature usage). Firebase Privacy Policy
These services may collect device-level information such as device model, operating system version, language, and general usage events. No personally identifying information is intentionally collected by SAPPS Interactive.
The Service Provider may also disclose automatically collected information as required by law (e.g. to comply with a subpoena), or when necessary in good faith to protect rights, safety, or to respond to an official government request.
Data Retention
- Automatically Collected Data: Processed via Firebase and AdMob is retained anonymously for up to 14–24 months, after which it is automatically purged by our processors.
- In-App Purchase Data: Purchase transaction confirmations are retained as necessary to validate and restore purchases. Payment details are handled exclusively by Apple and Google.
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Used for global performance metrics may be retained indefinitely as it contains no identifiable device markers.
- Locally Stored Preferences: Retained on your device until you clear the Application's data or uninstall. This data is never accessible to the Service Provider.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
Because the Application does not require user registration or login credentials, the Service Provider does not collect or associate any data with your real-world identity. To permanently delete all data associated with your use of the Application, you can:
- Clear the Application's cache and data storage within your device's system settings.
- Uninstall the Application from your device.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Because data is entirely anonymous and not tied to user accounts, the primary method for exercising your right to deletion is uninstalling the application and clearing device storage. Your Choices
You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection by the app.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or such higher age as required by applicable local law). The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us at sappsinteractive@gmail.com so that we can verify and remove the data immediately.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We rely on industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards provided by our infrastructure partners (Google Play Services, Firebase) to protect the limited data processed by the Application.
Data Breach Notification
If a systemic data breach occurs that affects our backend infrastructure or third-party processor pipelines, the Service Provider will notify users or relevant regulatory authorities in strict accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating this page with the new effective date.
